To oversee installation, operation, maintenance and repair to ensure equipment are properly functioning at every customer according to specifications, it is necessary to test mechanical systems and test operational performance compliance with contract specifications and applicable codes. Once data is available, it will be recorded and analyzed, then prepare report for evaluation and to inform customers of any recommendation such as to repair or replace. Based on the report or work order, a further development, continued implementation or evaluation of maintenance policies and procedures will be done. Each customer’s location has different equipment requirements, which entails interpreting specifications and blueprints to construct templates and lay outing reference points. Then, it will be followed by computing estimate and actual costs of factors such as materials and labor for customer’s approval (if quotation) and invoicing (if work is done).
Air-Conditioning, Ventilation and Refrigeration equipment and systems involved such as air conditioners, refrigerators, freezers & coolers, Central Air-Conditioning, Chilled Water Air-Conditioning, VAV & VVT Control Systems and electronic systems & controllers, exhaust fans, among others.
